I buy a mini-VGA to VGA VGA and HDTV for me to run because it has a VGA input. I have a 32 "Samsung TV.
Once the connection is, I need to change any settings on the TV or an iMac G5 (Leopard) to publish the results in order to find the best possible way?
And as I do on my Mac?

Do not use VGA.
Use a MiniDV-to-DVI and a DVI-HDMI cable. This is a digital signal, and works a lot better than VGA or analog connection to an HDTV.
