Why do all NBA video games have rap as the primary music on the game? - primary games/ cube field

To be honest, I can not stand rap. I really, really do not like. I do not think ever taste. But I like basketball. I have several video games for PS2 NBA. But I do not understand why every single NBA Video rap and rap songs in their soundtracks.

Why is this so?

Is the need to diversify? I think.
